The agreement, in plain words.

Terms of Service.

The rules for using WireMunch, what we promise, and what we cannot promise.

Effective 23 October 2026. Applies to the WireMunch Android app and its online service.

Who we are

WireMunch is a personal project published by an individual, Aby Biju (“we”, “us”). It is not a registered company. Contact: . By creating an account or using WireMunch you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use WireMunch.

Using WireMunch

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • During the beta, WireMunch is free and each account has a monthly allowance for AI processing. When the allowance is used, new notes pause until it resets. If we introduce paid plans, we will show the price before you pay; nothing is charged without your action.

Your content

You own the recordings you make or import, your notes and your corrections. To run the service you give us permission to store, copy and process that content, and to send it to the service providers listed in the privacy policy, only as needed to make and keep your notes. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the limited retention described in the privacy policy.

You confirm that you have the right to record, upload and process each recording, including the consent of other people whose voices are in it where the law requires it.

Improving WireMunch

When you first make notes, the app asks whether your recordings, transcripts and transcript fixes may help train WireMunch’s own speech and notes models. If you say yes, you also give us permission to use that content for this purpose, as described in the privacy policy. You can change your choice at any time in Profile → Data & privacy. Saying no does not limit the rest of the app.

AI results can be wrong

Transcripts, notes, summaries, quizzes and pictures are produced by AI. They can mishear words, leave things out, misattribute speakers or misstate meaning, and pictures are illustrations, not facts. Check important points against the original recording. Do not rely on WireMunch for medical, legal, financial, religious or safety decisions. Generated content belongs to you, as far as the law allows, but it may be similar to content generated for others.

Acceptable use

Do not use WireMunch to:

  • record or upload people unlawfully, or content you have no right to use;
  • process content that is illegal, sexually exploits anyone, or is meant to harass, threaten or defame;
  • break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits or security of the service;
  • resell the service or use it to build a competing product.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and remove content where the law requires it.

Beta and changes

WireMunch is in beta. Features may change, pause or stop, and the service may be unavailable at times. Keep your own copy of anything important. We may update these terms; for material changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they apply, and continuing to use WireMunch means you accept them.

Ending

You can stop using WireMunch and delete your account at any time. We may end the service or your access with reasonable notice where possible, or immediately for serious misuse. Deletion follows the privacy policy.

Warranties and liability

WireMunch is a free personal project, not a registered company. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of WireMunch, including lost or incorrect data, lost content, or decisions made using AI results, and we do not pay compensation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
